My friend down with flu

hello there
my friend is down with flu since 3 days
i go to his house aftermy office to give him company as his wife is also not there at his place
he was asking me a question about a medicine that he has to take
someone had recommended giving him amantadine dosage for his influenza virus but he has undergone a heart operation just 2 months ago and so i have told him to consult his doctor before taking it
what do you people think about it?

Sice your friend has undergone a heart operation it would be better if he asks the doctor before he takes medicines like Amantadine (http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3855-s-SYMMETREL.aspx) for treatment of the flu
And also Amantadine is used for the treatment of certain types of flu only so again check with the doctor regarding the same
