well i have to say he has been a great manager for manutd , but a blind dog can see that he is totally inept as a manager in europe , i for one don't think he has wat it takes to make them a truly great european team.
I think he has taken them as far as he can and the old horse should go out to pasture . he has spend trillions trying to win it again and it just keeps getting further away from him . 1 euro final in 18 years is not that good.
But hey i'm with you i think he holding man utd back

i agree with you, he doesn't seem to have that ability to conquer and dominate Europe, however saying he should call it a day is a bit disrespectful to a man that has been incredibly successful for a number of years!

thats a fair point, who cud take over tho do u think? I think Queiroz might be in line for the job, altho' my personal choice would be Martin O'Neill!

yeah i agree with your possible replacements , martin oneil wud deffinately do a good job with the talent utd have , takin celtic to eufa cup final when they play the equivalant of 2nd div teams every week is no easy thing just look at rangers euro xploits they are none existant . My first choice pick for liverpool manager was martin oneil he is a winner.
steve mclaren would also be thrown into the hat he has done a good job a boro and had them playin very well wen he had a fully fit squad.
Although I dont rate him that highly i think he cud possibly be the next england manager ,
Also utd may consider roy keane as player manager with fergie in a director role overseeing him
Other than that i think they would look to the continent, cappello etc

I do agree with you that Utd could do with a manager with a bit more European tactical nous than Fergie seems to have! I agree Roy Keane seems lined up for the job sometime in the future, altho' I think managing Utd as your first club would be extremely difficult, maybe in a few years tho' who knows!

Man u are in a very difficult situation, Fergy is not a manager that can be sacked. His career is dragging on but is he replaceable? I for one agree that he has not done well in Europe. We can all see that he seems to be making more and more mistakes as the years on dragging on. With the Glaziers now in charge if they try to relieve him from his duties it will just increase the hostility of the fans towards them.
