I think attractive football has been rare in the premiership of late. I'm talking about barcelona and madrid or south american style. Newcastle have been an attractive and entertaining side but Greame Souness put a stop to that. Arsenal have been really the only side to show high class entertainment to the neutral, but even then its usually come against softer oppositions against main rival they've either failed or changed styles.

But this year i think West Ham and wigan have been great.
I think if we are to compete against the spanish we need to have to control our passionate tackles. It has been hard for our league to attract players like Ronaldhinio and Zidane. These type of players would spend most their time with medics rather than with coaches.

Once again, I usually disagree with most things you say cloughie but apart from what you've said here, which I agree with for the most part, it seems there is not one other intellectual person on this site. Arsenal are by far the most entertaining team in the prem, almost every goal is a masterclass but true, they don't always get it right and overcomplicate sometimes. Wigan and West Ham have been great. The rest, even though some of them are functional are nowhere near as attractive to watch. Say what you like, Chelsea only have strength in depth and can be beaten by most teams on the day. Last season was their last one, they're going down this time. mwah mwah mwah

P.S. On their day man u and pool can also play pretty good looking football especially stevie g, absolute magician and second only to henry.

nice to agree on something lol. I think chelsea should be candidates for the most boring team in the premiership. Because with that unlimited financial might they play a 4-5-1 formation. They never play a 4-3-3 as moron suggests if they did swp would have had many more appearances. Chelsea are the best defensive team in the world but flare naa its not happening.
