How do you all HONESTLY rate your teams chances this coming season?
We can all say, oh champions no problem the other teams are crap, but is that realistic for the likes of Accrington (no offence intended).
I feel as though a mid-table finish for Lincoln is a successful campaign, we have had a new management team come in, we have had the majority of our defence leave, and our highest scoring player for some time has left too. We have signed quality players, and have an excellent youth scheme....BUT all this will take time to come to fruitition.
We outplayed a strong Leicester side for 45 minutes, and then beat a Forest side that had a line-up expected to be for the first match of the season. But I think these are false indications of the season ahead. Lose a couple of the more experienced players to injury, and we are in trouble.
So for me I am going for 12th this season, but just watch out for us next!
