Anyone else think the premiership is too predictable?
Its always the same teams at the top and then the teams who came up involved in relegation battles.

I totally agree with you - it would be nice to have more teams challenging for the title.
However has it really changed so much from the past. I think we have always had an elite in England as they do in Spain/Italy etc. Previously in the 70's and 80 it was Liverpool with brief interjections from Aston Villa, Notts Forest, Eveton. After that we had the Manchester United dominance with Arsenal,Leeds and Blackburn sometimes coming up trumps So in essence I don't think much has changed as now we have three class teams all capable of winning the Championship. What I do see has changed dramatically however is your point on the relegation sides. Now it has become very difficult for your Aston Villas', Notts Forests', Norwichs' and Derbys' to do what they have done in the past. I think you are unlikely to get those days again. It is likely that most years all promoted sides will go straight back down again which is a shame. Hopeflly you may have it like this year whereby Pompey may stay up. I hope they do but what is for sure this will be the anomaly rather than the norm.
I don't know what can be done to adderess this as to get a sea change in the finance and balance of power between the Premiership and the Nationwide it is the Premier clubs that will have to vote for this. This is unlikely to ever happen so the gap will only get bigger I feel.
