Don't make me laugh. They weren't robbed, they just couldn't score despite being easily the better side for about 90 of the 120 minutes. That's just sloppiness and a bad striker (can you believe anyone ever suggested Van Nistelrooy was anywhere near as good as Henry? Me neither). We had it all going against us – no Henry, a truly absurd tactical set-up and a number of key players going missing – and United still couldn't score. Our centre halves and goalkeeper were excellent and kept us in the game. That's not being robbed, that's just carelessness and lack of class where it counted. There were no examples of controversial refereeing (with the possible exception of a world-class bit of jobsworthism by sending Reyes off in the 120th minute), so United have got **** all to moan about.
If anyone wants to talk about being robbed, maybe we should mention 2001. There, we not only dominated the game, we also scored first and had a certain goal handled on the line that should have led to a penalty, a sending off and a 5-0 thrashing. Instead, they score twice at the death to bring about a ludicrously unfair result. Don't remember anyone shedding any tears for us back then, so why they're boo-hooing about United is anyone's guess.
