Rumours were this morning that LFC were going to be offered Duff + Cash for Gerrard. This ok, would of probably been exciting but HANDS OFF CHELSKI HE IS NOT FOR SALE

Duff had his chance to come to Liverpool several years ago, and turned us down. Anyway, we have enough wide players now anyway. And Raffa is supposed to be going after that Greek fella as well. It's strength through the centre we need. A decent centre back with pace, a tough tackling midfielder, and a striker who can hold the ball up. I am not convinced Cisse, Barros, and Morientes are the ideal trio to work together. Maybe I'm wrong, we shall see.

Morientes and Cisse are really yet to show what they can do. I personally think that this year Cisse will run rings around the best of them and Morientes will be awesome up front, didn't rate Baros too much last season towards the end so wouldn't be much of a loss if we got rid of him.

Agreed, clear out the deadwood. Off load him to Lyon for 6 or 7 million and buy a player who can link up better!!!!!!! I still think Le-Tallic has the potential to be a class player!!!!!!!

I really rate him, though I suppose Rafa will either loan him out again or sell him all together. That's if he hasn't sold him already. We should be wary of taking in too many Spaniards, we could lose our French identity.

Le-Tallac didn't play too much last season but i think if your talking deadwood he has to be on the list. The Spanish players are ok when they stop playing like ponses and play proper prem footie. I still remember Garcia and Alonso against the Mancs ponsing about and that did us no favours, but the next time we played them was completely different. The pace for them is too fast but they get use to it. The French Identity thing may not be a bad thing to lose HaHa

Its not just the French players its anything that Houlier has bought is dead wood and worth nothing on the market.
6m for la tallec and Pontogolle what a joke he really thought he was buying the next pires and Platini didn't he. 6m for two 15 year old it was a record by million miles. But then he had to make sure the next manager would make substancial losses on every single purchase. So far his ambitions have been met even though we might just make a nicker on baros. But he is trying to reduce that margin by signing the player himself, yeh can't say he's not trying.
