I don't know how Savage can say they are average after playing average teams for the whole of his career.
To be honest I think united have to have a clear out and get some proven players rather than loads with so called 'potential'
I couldn't belive that Fergie bought forlan with out seeing him play before...i wouldn't of thought he'd be the type to take a chance like that

Wow is that true, I didnt think Fergie would go do something like that. Makes your wonder about all those allegations about back handers that surfaced a few weeks ago.....

Half of the Football teams in Europe wanted to sign Forlan , it just turned out he couldn't score on a porn set in England but he has been scoring for fun in spain.
Fergie has always been fairly crap in the transfer market when it comes to buying cheaper players , unless its a player valued at over 20mill fergie wouldn't have a clue

I don't think Fergie's been great but he hasn't been completely **** I mean Eric Cantona for £1m, Denis Irwin for £750 000, Garry Pallister, Steve Bruce and if you look at the current team you've got Ronaldo 12m I know but cheap for how he's turned out, Van Der Sar's also looking to be a bargain and the fact is half our bloody team of the past 5 years were free cos our youth set up is the best in the country! I know we've spent ****loads on crappy players but so have Liverpool and Chelsea. I mean everyone always talks about Wenger and how good he is but if I remember rightly did he not spend £8m on Francis Jeffers!

United will come close to winning the league this year its gonna be tight but this derby will be a blow over... city are a good team with the next england manager but when he goes next month to claim whats rightfully his the england job city will once again become nout...........29 years lol.
With quality like ronaldo, rooney, and ruud (the 3 r's) all on form we'll beat any team and demolish chelsea this year like we did against the arse last season.
