I heard that Southampton are planning on selling Jo Tessem to Coventry for 1.5 million at the end of the season.

Can't see it, Saints were going to let him go for half that back to Norway in Jan but the deal fell through. Cov maybe but 1.5m seems a bit steep.

Kluivert's a great player, but he's been having a severe slip of form of late. I hope he does well in the Toon Army, if what you say is true.

Turns out Owen could be making a move to England, according to a spanish paper his agent has been in talks with the agent of Jose Reyes for a possible straight awitch, Owen for Reyes.... We all know Reyes is better but the pace Arsenal would have with Henry + Owen would be awesome.

Owen..? I am not too sure about him partnering Henry.
Personally i would prefer Fernando Torres to partner Thierry Henry up front. That could become a really devastating strike partnership as far as opposing teams are concerned.
However Arsenal really need to get a good goalkeeper in .....say Timo Hilderbrand or Antii Niemi....?
And centre of defence also needs to be bolstered... probably should bring in Phillippe Mexes....
Should let Reyes leave and join the Los Galacticos if he fancies them so much. An unhappy player is not going to win us any games.....
Selling him will probably allow us to finance the above purchases and maybe allow us to bring in someone like Michael Essien to charge up the midfield....

Why would Chelsea buy Cristiano Ronaldo? They already have Duff and Robbem, they don't need Ronaldo, plus Ronaldo will stay loyal to the Reds, he is without doubt, the greatest young talent in world football today!

There are few loyalties left in proffessional soccer these days, shame really. Occassionally you get players like Carragher who will bleed for there clubs, but by and large, they are all mostly over-rated spoilt pampered Pre-madonnas. The agents have to accept some of the blame for that!

I THINK AGENTS NEED TO EXCEPT ALL THE BLAME , AS THE PLAYERS JUST DO AS THERE TOLD BY THEM AND YOU CAN;T REALLY BLAME THEM, IF YOU WERE A FOOTBALLER AND YOUR AGENT ADVISED YOU THAT YOU COULD GET X AMOUNT INSTEAD OF WHATS OFFERED YOU'D BELIEVE THEM I KNOW I WOULD , THINK WE NEED TO SCRAP AGENTS ALTOGETHER AS THERE JUST A LOAD OF SCAVENGERS

Agreed, there is too much money being sucked out of the game by unscrupulous middle men. But players have minds of there own and none of them are squeaky clean!

Owen and henry i doubt it will be a succes. Henry is one of the best strikers in the world but if he has a weakness it is that he cannot link up with most strikers and Owen has a similar problem he is not flexible. The best partner for henry would be Rooney or Morientis

I think an Owen/Henry partnership would be devastating. Pace, skill and finishing in abundance. Would like to see them partnered at Liverpool though. And Owen is very flexible, has partnered Heskey, Shearer and Rooney to good effect, all of whom have very different styles.

shearer and heskey are both similar and are the type of players he likes to play with as for Rooney he is one of those players that can play with most players. As for Henry how many partners has he had for Arsenal and France a dozen that have not worked.

Bred for red i would never accept Owen back at anfield. This is a player who got paid more than twice as much as anyone has been paid before his departure, this gold digger was on 120k a week, 6m a year. He leaves us right at the end of his contract we get well under half the market value. He goes to Madrid and settles for a 56k a week package and now he is on the bench. He wants to be back here we give him the cold shoulder and he is contemplating utd. I can only spare him two more words **** off.

He leaves us right at the end of his contract that for the record is the worst time he could have left even though he really wanted to leave on a free the next year. Yeah like it was really on the cards people like Owen, Gerrard, Veiras never get those privaleges. He did his best to make himself available to Madrid on the cheap, well under half the market value. He goes to Madrid and settles for a 56k a week package and now he is on the bench. He thinks he is very smart but he over looked the fact 7m is a figure that Madrid pay for bench warmers.
