As Man Utd are now on their downward spiral, who cares about them? It's too much to ask just now, but I really do hope that they follow Leeds down to division 1. Unfortunately they have got too much money behind them to drop down, but who knows? everyone can hope!
Have we got any Man Utd fans here who actually live in Manchester? or is it true that most Manchester residents support City?
In answer to the original question, I reckon that Man Utd will pay over the odds for someone to replace Beckham and he'll turn out to be crap. They simply haven't been the same since they sold Jaap Stam. Then they sold Beckham! and Van Nistlerooy may not last much longer!! Time to sack the manager - he's got too big for his boots...

Man Utd will come back after some reinforcement!!!
What about Barcelona's Ronaldinho? and Liverpool's Steven Gerrard?, and maybe Chelsea's Frank Lampard? And whay the hell not Arsenal's Thierry Henry... :D

As an ardent Liverpool fan, i feel that we can offer a solution to your right wing difficuties. An inconsistent season for a certain mr Ronaldo, but a consistent (chuckle) and dazzling (hahaha) sesaon from one of our own right wingers could be the solution to your problems. I present to you a certain EL HADJI DIOUF, a fantastic acquisition, at a snippet of £10m pounds sterling.
