I actually rate Vassell, but then perhaps I have not seen him play as much as the Villa fan/s on here.....

he`s ok if you like players who run at the defence, lose the ball and don`t try and get it bac.
also for a top class striker 45 goals in 199 games isn`t really a very good strike rate.

I Don't Know Much About Him Other Than He Missed That Pen In Euro 2004; I Think It's Safe To Blame Us Going Out On Vassell... But Hey We Had A Good Run In. We Got To The Q-finals; It Was Better Than Nothing.

I Don't See Why England Fans Were So Upset; I Mean Sure I Was Gutted But You Can Always Bench Mark Our Failures By The Welsh.

Hey, we can't all be world beaters like the English can we. I mean England win just about everything they enter, right? It must be great to have a national team that wins so much, now hold on, while I count all the cups they have won since 1966. This might take a while????????

The difference being, we don't pretend we are going to win every world cup or european cup that comes around. We accept our limitations, thus there are no disapointments. England should adopt the same attitude, that way, the nation would not be so disapointed after every penalty shoot out loss. It's just a bit of friendly advice.
