Will england win euro 2004, i am not convinved i thought our team was supposed to be peaking yet we lost to sweden in a friendly. Also we don't come near to the sort of quality that the freanch have in there team, Although we have to beat them, they are getting too cocky!!!!

England could have won it, they had as good a chance as anyone but they lacked positive play once in front. They did it against France and they did it again yesterday against Portugal. As soon as the goal went in after 3 minutes they fell back into defensive mode. They gave the ball away cheaply and did too mant big kicks upfield that gave the ball back to the oposition.

Rooney getting injured was a big blow and without him they just floundered. :(

I hope the Czech's win it now, they have played nice football. :D

Fact - England deserved to lose - they were beaten by a better team - but we have talent - did better than a lot of other 'strong' nations and must look at how we can improve.

We are not far off. A bit more understanding in the Midfield and a better goalkeeper - after that I would say we will be almost there. I am not too cheesed off - yes there are better teams out there but the fact is most of our players will be there in 2006. Will Zidane/Figo be there?
