So then people, is alonso a worthy champion?, i feel not. In my humble opinion Raikkonnen should be the champion as he could have and should have won all but the races montoya won. It is clear that mclaren rule and should at least win the constuctors title. Just need reliabilty completed sorted and for Raikkonnen to not go to Ferrari in 2007 and then boooom, sorted, job done, welcome the era of the Mclaren

Hi Bill ,
To be honest it's whoever ride's the fastest. If Alonso won it then I don't see how you can argue.

i can argue it!, if the car is fastest and the driver is fastest but all that lets him down is reliablitly then he ent a worthy winner, its just the same as football, a team can put in a fantasic performance and not scoe then late on the poorer side score, happens all the time in football and people argue, so why is this any different!

reliability is a major part of motorsport so if you cant sort it you dont deserve to win simple its the teams job to make sure the car can complete the race if they dont finish they havnt done there job properly and dont deserve to win especialy in f1 where overtaking is virtually non exsistent and moving up the grid is largely due to fuel consumption/pit stops or cars not finishing which does make for pretty poor veiwing if wou want to watch decent racing you should watch the touring cars there awesome

Mclaren are having serious problems with blowing engines so until Mercedes comes up with a decent engine then they can forget about the title this year.
The best engines so far this year are Cosworth/Honda and Toyota.
Ferrari and Red Bull are not doing very well but hopefully will be giving us a competitive season once they have got their engine prob sorted.
