LIVERPOOL FC needs 4 or 5 more players to challenge

LFC needs 4 or 5 more quality players at least to challenge for the Premiership title and Champions League. The club had a decent manager in RAFA BENITEZ but now are in desperate need for tansfer funds. They need to strengthen in most positions. There are plenty of decnt players who are still playing at smaller clubs which the top teams have not bought yet. LFC need to find either a new investor or a big takeover in order to bring in quality. This will cost alot but it's the only way now especially if they have any chance to keep hold of Steven Gerrard. These are the type of players they need:

Shaun Wirght Phillips/ JOAQUIN - right wing
VICENTE / Van der Vaart- left wing
1 good center back eg L.KING
1 good GK eg Cudicini
Cover for center mid - Van Bommel
Sell Baros and buy 1 striker - OWEN/ DEFOE/ F.TORRES

Any of these players would be a major boost for the club but they definitely need to make MAJOR changes in the summer otherwise they will fall further behind the BIG 3 clubs in ENGLAND. Mr. Green

If I was Liverpool I'd look towards the youth system rather than the transfer system as you haven't exaclty made many good bits of transfer business recently have you?

WE'VE ALREADY HAD THIS ARGUEMENT, MOST OF YOUR RECENT SPENDINGS HAVEN'T BEEN GOOD EITHER (BAR RONALDO AND MAYBE THAT GIRLFRIEND SLAPPING FAT TWAT ROONEY). ALTHOUGH IF THIS PAPER TALK IS REAL IT LOOKS AS THO YOU MIGHT GET ESSIEN FROM LYON AND MAYBE TORRES FROM C. MADRID.

AND ALL THOSE PLAYERS YOU'VE MENTIONED WERE BROUGHT IN BY GERARD HOLLIUR NOT RAFA BENITEZ, AND TO BE HONEST RAFA'S SIGNINGS HAVE BEEN BOTH GOOD AND BAD. ON ONE HAND LEWY GARICA AND NANO MORA HAVE BEEN GREAT AT TIMES, YET JOSEMI AND NUNEZ HAVEN'T PROVED THEMSELVES YET.

AND YES YOUR RIGHT OWEN AND GERRARD HAVE BEEN GREAT PLAYERS FOR US AND SO TOO AS JAMIE CARRA. I THINK BOTH CLUBS HAVE BENEFITED PLEANTY FROM THEIR YOUTH SYSTEMS.
