Scotland now ranked in the top 20 teams!

Scotland have moved to 20th in the FIFA world rankings. What a marvellous improvement considering 2 years ago they were ranked about 82nd. It just shows how much dedication and team work can improve your team.

When you look at Scotland's EURO 2008 qualifying group and see Scotland top in a group with Italy, France and Ukraine, it not only amazing but a proud moment for Scotland!

As a Scotsman i cant for the life of me think why we are ranked so high.After watching the Norway game all be it through the cracks in my fingers it only shows Scotland up for what our national team are.We are tryers and the players picked to do a job really do try but in international terms quite simply we are not good enough.I can safely predict we will not qaulify for the world cup and if any sane thinking Scot thinks we will be ready for the next European Championship THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Scotland and Ireland had been developing rugby league in their respective nations for several years. This was especially true at student level, with a Scotland student team having played regularly since 1987 and having competed in the 1992 Students World Cup.

I am also agreed, both Ireland and Scotland are growing very well in terms of football.
The teams are really focusing well in football, also done well in world-cup unexpectedly.

This is quite good thing but still as international terms simply they are not good enough.Must give chance to new young players.
