With 3 clubs in Britain now controlled by Eastern European money (although cant work out why anyone would want to have anything to do with Scotland), it has been revealed that there is going to be an influx of Eastern Europeans coming to buy English football clubs. One contact has already revealed that there are several Russian Billionaires looking at Prem Clubs with a view to taking them over. Not only does this raise their PR, it also gives them certain Visa rights in the UK which is crucial in business terms for these guys.
Is this the end of football, in which i mean, will it become more about the battle of the bank balances than the football on the pitch.
Im very worried about all of this and will totally lose interest in football, if it becomes 4 teams at the top of each league who can buy who the like and the battle comes down to who can get the top player at that particular time.
Its worrying.
