Just want to get a heads up on this idea.

I was thinking of expading the forums to include sections for other sports such as:

Cricket
Rugby Union
Rugby League

What are peoples views on this?
The idea is that the more people we get viewing the site, the more discussions we will hopefully have.

Are there any other sports or subjects people would like to see forums for?

Hey Mate, could be a good Idea, although I would be getting abused a lot seeing that Australia are the best at Rugby League , union and cricket,

I dont travel very far out of the general area these days but sure it might even get some more members.

I actually thought it was quite embarressing when they put on the open top bus and the pandemoneum that followed , it just shows the difference in class cos if the aussies won there would of been a couple of thousand people turn up to a parade here maybe. such is the expectation of victory whenever the aussies play.


Australia have lost like 2 test series in the last 6 or 7 years.
They could put up 3 or 4 international teams out and probably be ranked 1 and 2.
There are players here that can't get a look in at the moment that are a lot better than Hayden, Martyn, etc that you have never heard of.
The ashes loss was long overdue, Half of the oz team have been out of form for sometime but haven't been dropped because the team keeps winning. But here in oz lots of people (the public) for sometime have been saying certain players should be dropped.

I personally think Glen Mcgrath's injury in the 1st test was the turning point of the whole series , That man is a true cricket God

I'm sorry mate but the whole test it wasn't australia vs england, it was shane warne vs england but if we beat you over 5 matches, that suggests we are better than you! So currently englands team is better, i aint a cricket expert so i aint gonna argue about it but we beat you mate, in fact we anninhilated you, and were unlucky not to wrap it up with a game to spare!

oh I forgot ,, Did I tell you how good the aussies are at swimming ,

Per population they are by far and away the MOST brilliant swimming nation on the planet.

Even though there is only 18mill living in oz and nearly 300mill living in the states the aussies are still every bit the yanks equal in the pool.

THE THORPEDO , GRANT HACKETT, KIEREN PERKINS , SUPERFISH

Infact any sport the Aussies take seriously they seem to be the best or right up there at.
Australias favourite sport is Australian Rules Football. It is a great game once you understand the rules , but thats another story

Rugby Union, I think not. Lost all matches in the recent tri-nations. probably not even top 5. Cricket, afraid not there either buddy. England whipped you and they are not all that either. Seriously, Shane Warne, hats off to the man, he single handedly made every match into a game. As for the rest of them, a sad bunch resting on their laurels. As for swimming, who gives. The only reason you have good swimmers is because when you all got deported to oz land as convicts, you always tried swimming back...... ha ha ha ha ha. Any other sport... thought not. oz land actually reminds me of Man Utd, owned the international sporting scene for a decade but are now slipping really fast and clutching at straws.

Quite happy where I am at the mo thanks bud. Rather have a squad full of hugely talented youngsters than a team of geriatric thugs with the ugliest, filthiest, scouse c£nt on the face of the planet as their talisman. He should be in prison not on a football pitch. Anyway, while we are going to be challenging Chelsea in the near future, the likes of you will be stuck in his council flat in prawn sandwich city telling people about the days of yore when the red devils were a great team and then heading off to watch them play ipswich in the third division. ha ha ha
